Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information Arcfit collects, why we collect it, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is deliberately written to be read rather than skimmed past.

Arcfit is a clothing business at 14-C/1, Main Road, Faisal Town, Main Boulevard, Lahore, Pakistan. This store runs on Shopify, so Shopify processes information on our behalf when you use the site.

What we collect

When you place an order: your name, phone number, delivery address, email address, and the details of what you ordered and what you paid.

When you contact us: whatever you put in the message, and the phone number, WhatsApp number, Instagram handle or email address you sent it from.

Automatically, when you browse: your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you looked at and how you arrived at the site. This is ordinary web analytics collected by Shopify.

If you pay by bank transfer: the transfer receipt you send us, which usually shows your name and the last digits of your account number.

What we never see

We do not take card payments and this site has no card checkout, so we never receive or store your card number, CVV or bank login details. Cash on delivery involves no financial data at all. If any page or message ever asks for card details in Arcfit's name, it is not us — please report it to us.

Why we use it

To confirm, pack, dispatch and deliver your order, and to call you about it.
To handle exchanges, returns and warranty claims.
To answer your questions on the phone, WhatsApp, Instagram or email.
To keep basic business records, including for tax and accounting.
To understand which pages and products people actually use, so we can improve the store.
To detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive orders.
To send you offers and new-product news — only if you asked us to. See below.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade contact lists. We share only what is needed, with:

Shopify — hosts this store and processes orders and site analytics for us.
Our courier — receives your name, address and phone number, because a parcel cannot be delivered without them.
Meta (WhatsApp and Instagram) — if you message us there, that conversation sits on Meta's platform under Meta's own privacy terms, not ours.
Our bank — for verifying a bank transfer you have sent.
Government authorities — where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

Marketing

We only send marketing messages to people who opted in. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link, and you can reply STOP to a marketing WhatsApp or SMS at any time. Opting out does not stop messages about an order you have actually placed — those are not marketing, and you need them.

Cookies

This site uses cookies set by Shopify to keep your cart working, remember your session, and count visits. They are not used to build an advertising profile of you. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but your cart will stop working if you block them entirely.

Where your information is stored

Shopify stores data on servers outside Pakistan. Placing an order therefore involves your information being transferred abroad and processed there. Shopify applies its own security and data-protection standards to that processing — you can read Shopify's consumer privacy policy and use the Shopify privacy portal for data Shopify holds directly.

How long we keep it

Order records: kept for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and any dispute — normally at least 5 years.
Messages and support conversations: normally 2 years.
Marketing contacts: until you opt out, after which we keep only the record that you opted out, so we do not message you again by mistake.
Analytics: retained by Shopify on its own schedule.

Your choices

You can ask us to:

tell you what information we hold about you;
correct anything that is wrong — a misspelt name or an old address;
delete your information, where we are not legally required to keep it (we cannot delete the record of a completed sale, but we can remove you from everything else);
stop sending you marketing.

Message us on 0326-3355552 or email arcfit.pk@gmail.com. We may ask a question or two to confirm it is really you before we act — usually just the order number. We aim to answer within 7 working days.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS and order data sits inside Shopify's systems rather than on a laptop in an office. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send us anything sensitive — card numbers, passwords, CNIC scans — over WhatsApp or email. We will never ask you for them.

Children

This store is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their details, tell us and we will delete them.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if our practices change — a new payment method or a new courier, for instance. The "last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
